INGREDIENTS IN FERTILIZER
***This product does not contain composted sewage sludge.
1. CHILEAN NITRATE OF SODA
Naturally mined in Chile and sent to the U.S. to be part of blend. It is a source of quick nitrogen
for plant material. A natural, quick, sustained, nitrogen release that is more effective than cow
manures, feathers, and fowl manures because of its quicker release and pure state. See deep, rich
greening in 1-2 weeks.
2. LEATHER MEAL
Another nitrogen source. This adds natural, organic material to the soil. It comes from hide
buffings.
3. FISH MEAL
A source of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. It comes from ground bones and internal matter
from fish.
4. MEAT AND BONE MEAL
Source of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.
5. KELP
From Iceland and Norway. It is mined from the sea and is a source of trace minerals such as
copper, magnesium, iron, etc.
6. LANGBONITE
A naturally mined substance. It is a quick source of potassium. Also contains sulfur and
magnesium.
7. GREENSAND
Mined in the Atlantic Ocean off Cape May, NJ, this substance contains potassium and trace
minerals and serves as a nutrient transfer - it releases and stimulates activity in the soil which
allows the nutrients to be absorbed. This serves as an excellent soil conditioner - it helps it to
drain.
8. HUMATES
Minerals consisting of carbon. Similar to peat, it contains humic acid which serves as a nutrient
release
9. ROCK PHOSPHATE
Mined in North Carolina, it is a source of phosphorus and calcium.
10. BACTERIA CULTURE
Provides the main biological activity in the soil. Makes everything happen with blend. Feeds on
thatch build-up in the soil usually caused by the use of quick-release, high nitrogen fertilizers.
