Materials Utilized
A. Disease and fungus control is attained through the use of bacteria inoculated fertilizers. University research has confirmed a 95% control in expansive testing. B. Insect control for grubs, sod webworm, chinch bug, and others specific to areas of the country, is attained through biological and natural controls that are non-toxic to humans and animals. Insects are also controlled through the use of endophyte-enhanced grasses. These grasses have been specifically bred to "taste" bad to surface feeding insects. C. Fertilizer used is a specialized biologically-active compound specifically designed for your turf based on the results of the soil analysis. Ingredients are listed on the next pages. D. Non-toxic bio-stimulants and soil conditioners are utilized as needed to combat specific soil and/or nutrient concerns. E. Crabgrass control is achieved through the hyper-germination of crabgrass seed in the early spring as well as maintenance of high PH (7.0), as well as heavy aeration to reduce compaction. F. Broadleaf Weed Control is ongoing through the use of
cultural controls designed to alter soil mechanics to grow grass and not weeds. New, exciting, non-toxic weed deterrents are under development and should be introduced
in the next two years.
At the heart of the program is the development of a strong turf that has minimal amounts of the
above issues. Please use the following link to learn what is contained in our fertilizers.
